A tiny pepper with a punch! These little guys are hot! Plants are compact and very prolific. Produce early on in the season and just keep cranking them out. Thin skinned and dry easily, so you can add them to recipes year round for a little extra something. One of my favorite ways to use them is crushing one of two dried peppers into a batch of homemade guacamole 😋!
We found this hot pepper a few years ago whilst looking for another variety. The only description for the pepper was “Nepali Orange”. With some trepidation and some eager excitement, we grew it out despite the lack of information. Nepali Orange turned out to be an incredibly prolific little hot pepper that did very well in our garden. These peppers are quite a bit hotter than a jalapeno with fruity notes. Ripen from bright yellow to orange to dark red. Excellent for adding to salsa for a bit of a kick or drying for your own spicy chili powder. You won’t find these anywhere else!
